Sarah Lewis Teaches Manicure's and Pedicure's

Sarah Lewis came to Congo 2 weeks ago and has turned this place around! We knew she would!!! At least she changed this place in a small but very significant way. She did many different acts of service for the Congolese, but one of the huge things she did is teach 7 Congolese women how to do Manicures and Pedicures. The women became certified to go out into the community to serve people. She taught them that this kind of service is really a service to nails and the heart as they care for nails and minister as they go. Already the women are receiving appointments and doing nails (making money and loving on people). It was really exciting to see these women becoming prepared to go out and make a living doing this service....needless to say they were very appreciative and thankful for what Sarah did and how she loved on them.

By the way...Sarah brought equipment for each of these women to go and start their own nail business. So they got trained and the tools for free...now 7 women here in Kinshasa will be able to be employed by what she transfered to them. I know many of you helped Sarah come to Congo and you too are to be commended for your part in helping these women learn a trade. Many many thanks!

Sarah was also such a big help to Grace in so many ways. She supported Grace in the work at ICM, she helped with the program for the small group training at ICM, and she cut/styled so many peoples hair from here at TASOK ......once people heard there was a hair stylist in the house, they came knocking! She transformed many a missionary!!
